Ebay is a Great Source Of Traffic

Use eBay to to drive more traffic to your sponsors or website.

Ebay can be an extra source of traffic by effectively utilizing your "about me" page. Currently ebay doesn't allow you to link to other websites from your auction pages. However, you can link from your auction page to your "about me" page and there is no rule prohibiting users from linking outside of ebay to other websites from their "about me" page.

Use your marketing skills to transform your "about me" page into a mini-website with links to your website or sponsors. Then, on all your ebay auction pages, simply place an offer of free information or offer a free ebook (this is what I do) to ebay users as an incentive to visit your "about me" page. Be sure to clearly state it as such.

Example: "Free XYZ ebook! Click here to visit my "about me" page and grab your free copy". Place this link at the top of your auction sales page and insert a counter or stats tracker on your "about me" page, then sit back and watch the results!
